Her moans were answer enough. She touched his stomach, her fingers dancing down to grip his hardening cock. “Please,” she said.
When she’d sucked on him before, he always made sure to wear a condom before she took him into her mouth. “No, not until I’m sure of everything first.” He kissed her lips. It was the only thing he allowed until he got a clean bill of health.
Kissing her hard, he washed her body before helping her out.
He left her to dress, to grab the jeans he left downstairs in the sitting room the night before. Killer had taken to leaving condoms in every room. They f**ked whenever the need hit them.
Dressing in jeans and a shirt, he put the coffee pot on before getting himself some cereal. He had to work in twenty minutes, and he didn’t want to be late.
Kelsey wore a yellow summer dress with a cardigan to cover the white plasters over her wrists.
“What time will you be home tonight?” she asked.
“I should be back by five thirty. We’ve got the weekend to ourselves, so be ready to be f**ked every chance I get.”
She chuckled, pouring a coffee for herself.
“Are you coming to town?” he asked.
“No, I’m going to soak up the sun until Sandy comes. Who is dropping her off?”
“Stink or Zero I think. Neither man wants to stick around the club at the moment.” He placed his empty bowl in the sink, finishing off his coffee.
“Will they be staying the night?”
“No, they’re staying for dinner but will be on the road in no time. We need to be hidden until Alex comes back with information.”
“What is Michael doing? Do you know if he’s sending police out looking for us or if he’s just leaving us alone?” she asked, glancing down into her cup.
He wondered how to answer. The truth was the best course of action. “He confronted Tiny at the club the day after. No police have gotten involved, but he’s still in Fort Wills. Some of our men are onto him. Do you miss him?”
“No. I’m more worried for us.”
“Don’t be, baby. I’ve got to get going. See you soon.” He kissed her head, forcing himself to leave the house before he stayed. Leaving Kelsey after everything that happened was getting harder and harder each day.

“Are you sure he’s fine sitting outside?” Kelsey asked, looking out the open door to see Stink on his cell phone.
“Yeah, he doesn’t like watching me play doctor.” Sandy removed the white plasters that covered her scars. “This is perfect. The scars will be minimal but can’t be helped.” She assessed the marks in detail. “Providing you’re not doing dirty work, I think it’s best to leave them open. It will help for them to heal faster.”
Kelsey waited for Sandy to finishing cleaning them before talking again. Resting her hands in her lap, she stared at the other woman as she packed her case away.
“How are Tate and the others?”
“Tate’s fine. She’s her usual bossy self. I love her, but she’s driving the men crazy with her fears. She wanted to come today and so did Zero, but Stink wouldn’t let them.” Sandy shrugged. “Everyone is on lockdown. I think Alex might have found something out. There was a call last night, but none of the men are saying anything. They’re keeping it all to themselves being all secretive.”
Sandy called Stink in to take the case back out to the car. The other man wasn’t wearing his leather cut either. Kelsey asked why.
“This is a new threat, and until they all know what’s going on, the men don’t leave Fort Wills with a cut. Stink hates it, but he wouldn’t let Zero take his place.” Sandy rested her head on her palm.
“Why does Zero want to come here?” Kelsey asked, pleased to be talking to people she knew. Tate was her best friend, but she’d take whatever friendship she could get.
“He’s on lockdown with Sophia. Man is in love with her.” Sandy rolled her eyes. “He tries to hide it.”
Kelsey knew about Zero’s infatuation with Sophia. Tate talked about it often.
“What about you, Kels? How is married life treating you?”
Laughing, Kelsey stared down at the ring on her ring finger. “It’s pretty perfect.”
“I recognize that glow, honey. Killer f**king you good, is he?”
Heat filled her cheeks. Sandy’s words embarrassed her, especially when Stink chuckled on his way back.
“Can’t you keep anything to yourself?” Kelsey asked.
“Come on, I want details. I’ve stopped being a f**k buddy to the men. It’s my own choice, but I need details, lots and lots of details,” Sandy said.
Rolling her eyes, Kelsey stood to make a cup of tea. “Killer says you’re staying for dinner?”
“Yeah, I’ve already stopped by to take his blood.”
“What? Why would you need to take Killer’s blood?” Kelsey started to worry about the man she’d been staying with. How had she not known something was wrong with him? She felt like such an awful girlfriend. Girlfriend? Was she a girlfriend?
Crap, her thoughts were getting too far ahead of her.
“Girl, he wants to be clean so he can f**k you without a condom.”
Okay, her cheeks were going to set on fire if Sandy kept talking bluntly. “What?”
“Don’t be worried. I’ll do the tests, but Killer wants to get rid of the rubber. He’s staking his claim over you, and it’s only a matter of time before you’re his old lady with a ring on your finger that means the same.” Sandy stood, stretching out her muscles. “God, I’ve been sitting for a long time in that blasted car.”
“You can go for a walk if you want around the garden. I’m going to get dinner ready for when Killer’s off work.” Kelsey stood, making two coffees for her guests. Stink took both cups from her as Sandy was stretching out in the garden.
She saw the lust in the other man’s gaze, directed entirely at Sandy.
“Cheers, doll.”
“You’re welcome.” Kelsey hated calling him Stink and made herself scarce. The look in his eyes made her feel frozen to the spot. Did Sandy know that the man wanted her?
It wasn’t her place to tell Sandy what she knew.
Concentrate on my own business.
She pulled the steaks out of the fridge to get to room temperature as she made a mixture to stuff into the beef. Every now and then she stared outside wondering about the strange couple. Sandy was so independent while Stink seemed closed off. Neither of them looked ready to open up to the other.
