Getting back to her work, she rolled the stuffing into the steaks, placing them in a pot covering them with tomatoes and herbs before putting the pot into the oven. All she needed to do was cook some pasta, toss together some salad, and dinner was made.
Glancing at the clock she saw Killer was going to be home within the hour. She stepped outside to soak up what little bit of sun she could.
Stink was on the phone a lot of the time while Sandy took in the sun. “Man, this is the life. With lockdown we’re not allowed outside unless accompanied by one of the crew. It gets dull having a man watch over you.”
“Killer’s orders were getting some sun.”
“You’re not tanned enough, Kels. You’ve got to learn to show a bit of skin off to get what you want.”
Sandy had her eyes closed, stretched out on one of the loungers. Her skirt was up around her waist as her shirt lay open exposing her modest bra.
“I can’t just get naked,” she said.
“You’d be surprised what you can do, honey. Me, I didn’t think it was possible to be confident as I got older, but look at me. I f**k who I want, and I’m not exactly in my early twenties. I’m in my late thirties, and I’m not telling you my exact age either.”
Kelsey chuckled. “Don’t be concerned about your age. Stink certainly doesn’t mind your age.”
Sandy opened her eyes, shielding them from the sun with a palm to her forehead. “What are you going on about?” she asked.
“Stink. He’s got feelings for you.”
It was Sandy’s time to laugh. “No, honey, you’ve got that completely wrong. He doesn’t want anything to do with me. Tiny gave him the job of looking after me. It’s all he’s doing.”
Kelsey wanted to dispute the other woman, but Killer walked out the back door covered in his overalls, which were thick with grease.
“Hey, man, ladies. I’m going to wash up, and I’ll be out to join you.” Killer left without another word.
“Wow, isn’t this domestic bliss if ever I saw it,” Sandy said.
“Stop it. I better finish up dinner.”
Leaving the two in the garden, Kelsey filled a pot with water and started to prepare the salad along with several other items. She set the table for the four of them, then drained the pasta. When she got to the salad, Killer stepped up behind her.
“I’m clean now, baby.” He kissed her neck, sucking on her pulse. “Fuck, I missed you.” His hands banded around her waist, drawing her back against his cock. She felt the hard length on his c**k against her ass. He moaned then reached up to cup her breast. “Wish they were gone. I’d f**k you right now before we eat.”
She wanted that. Closing her eyes, she crossed her legs feeling heat spill into her panties.
Stink cleared his throat making them aware of his presence. She jumped at the sudden intrusion while Killer laughed but didn’t pull away immediately.
“Sorry,” Stink said. “I didn’t mean to interrupt.”
“Yes, you did.” Killer pulled away, dropping a kiss to her neck as he left.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw him go to the fridge withdrawing some juice.
Once they were all around the table, Kelsey visibly relaxed.
“Dude, you’re serving us juice?” Stink asked.
“If you were sticking around you’d get beer, but seeing as you’re leaving I’m not going to spend my night worrying about you. I’ve got many other things planned for this evening,” Killer said, reaching out to cup the back of her neck.
She smiled at him, feeling a tightening deep in her core. Killer knew what to say to make her melt for him.
The dinner went really well. Sandy and Stink complimented her food in between Killer asking questions about the club and life outside of the house.
Whenever Michael’s name was brought up she couldn’t help but get nervous. She’d married a man whom she knew nothing about. Most women would laugh at her stupidity.
A couple of hours later they stood together waving at their departing friends. Kelsey wished they were going along with them. She hated being away from Tate and Fort Wills. There were times she missed being a dental nurse.
Killer tugged her back into the house, kissing her neck. “We’ll be leaving soon, I guarantee it.”
“How? How can you guarantee it?” she asked.
He slammed the door closed and pressed her against the wall. She gasped as he tore the straps of her dress down her shoulders. “Sandy told me you got the all clear.” He lifted her hands to rest the palms against the wall.
“Yes.”
“Good. I can’t stand you being in pain.”
Down the dress went landing at her feet. Next he rid her of the bra and then her panties. “Now, it’s time for us to make up for lost time.”

“They’re in a small town called Paradise Rocks,” Daniel said, entering the hotel room. Michael stood feeling terror grip him. If they knew where Kelsey and Killer were living then his enemies would also know the truth.
“How do you know?”
“Our men followed Sandy and Stink. They were not very clever in shaking them off.” Daniel held up his cell phone showing a picture of the happy couple.
The picture was like a kick to the gut. Kelsey looked so bloody happy, and it wasn’t because of him. He’d really thought he could get her to stay married to him. She never argued, until recently, and he liked the idea of having a wife who would let him do what he wanted. Michael liked variety in his women.
“Arrange a meeting with them. I want to keep them off her scent as long as possible.” Wiping a hand down his face, Michael started to panic.
Shit, f**k, shit.
Not only had Kelsey been discovered and her name linked with his but also Alex had found out the f**king truth. Michael believed he’d buried any paperwork linking his name to the trafficking. It was only a matter of time before The Skulls knew the truth. Maybe death would have been a better way to end his life.
“Sir, they’re not answering,” Daniel said.
Both men froze as the hotel’s door was slammed open and a bleeding member of their security team was gasping for breath. Michael recognized the young man as Ben, the one who helped to dispose of the girl shot in the head, the same man he posted outside of Kelsey’s door. “We’ve been betrayed. The girls are gone. Eric and Mark are dead. They got a call, and the next moment they started shooting.”
Ben collapsed to the floor, bleeding out.
