Entrusted (Club Destiny #7) Page 36
Author: Nicole Edwards

Logan must’ve known that too because he leaned in close to her ear and whispered, this time for only her to hear, “Last time I’ll ask this. Is this what you want?”

“I do,” she confirmed. More than anything.

Logan pressed a kiss to her neck, just beneath her ear. “I love you, Sam.”

Warmth consumed her, more so than any physical heat could have. The sound of his voice, the reassurance in his tone, it meant more to her than anything else. And now, they were moving into very dangerous territory, one that threatened to test them, but Sam didn’t have any fear. Not when it came to Logan’s love.

“I love you, too,” she replied. “More than you’ll ever know.”

Her love for Logan was unbreakable. Even if she felt she was going to fall for Elijah in a way she hadn’t anticipated.

Ever since dinner… Ever since the man had pulled her in and charmed her with his enchanting smile, his sexy accent, and the impassioned look she’d seen in his golden eyes. He wanted her. That was something she knew for a fact. But she also got the impression that he wanted more than just tonight.

That didn’t bother her. Although she had worried that it would bother Logan when he figured it out. That was until she realized the two men had laid it all on the line. This, according to Elijah, wasn’t his first time doing this, as he’d told her at dinner. And from her perspective, that dinner had actually been their first date, one that Sam wasn’t sure she’d ever forget.

“Oh, God,” Sam moaned when Logan slowly pushed his finger back inside of her. He was just teasing her now, but the fact that she was blindfolded had heightened her other senses, making it significantly more effective.

“Very pretty,” Elijah said, his voice carrying from wherever he sat. Sam could tell he was close, but not close enough. At least not close enough for her to touch him.

“Yes, she is,” Logan confirmed against her ear, his breath tickling her neck. “So fucking pretty.”

God, she loved when he talked to her like that. The gentle rumble of his deep voice sent a shiver racing along her nerve endings, lighting them up along the way.

“I want you to move to the end of the chair,” Logan instructed softly. “I’ll be right here behind you.”

Sam eased forward until she felt the end of the chair against her thighs. Logan positioned his hands on her hips, halting her.

“Stand up,” Logan instructed, but based on the way he was still holding her, Sam knew he wasn’t speaking to her.

Although Logan appeared to be the one in control, Sam detected a request in Logan’s tone, versus his usual commanding manner.

That’s the moment she knew this was different.

Very, very different.

Logan watched as Elijah pushed to his feet. He’d placed his half-empty glass on the concrete beside his chair, his eyes still trained on Samantha. The man was enraptured by her, Logan could tell. Not that he blamed the guy.

It was one of the signals that told him this was different from their previous threesomes. With Luke, it had been about sex. Logan’s twin had been there for the gratification only, to do to Sam what Logan requested, and they all knew it. And with Tag, it had been the same.

Nothing complicated.

If Logan had to guess, Elijah had already fallen for Sam, even if he didn’t know it yet. Then again, maybe he did because he moved forward, his hands coming to cradle Sam’s head, sliding down until he was cupping her face. She was looking up at him, not seeing him due to the blindfold, but from where Logan sat, even she was aware of their acknowledgement of one another.

“Is this what you want, Samantha?” Elijah asked, his hands cupping her face gently. “I need to hear you say it.”

“Yes, this is what I want,” Sam whispered. “I want both of you.”

Elijah’s eyes met Logan’s over the top of Sam’s head. Logan waited to see what the man would say. He could tell there was a battle going on in his head. This wasn’t just physical for Elijah. That was evident.

And for reasons unbeknownst to him, Logan was all right with that. This man would care for Sam the way she deserved. The way Logan cared for her. If he were going to share more of her than her body, Logan needed to know that he would take care of her.

Elijah finally nodded, an obvious signal that he was ready to move forward.

Logan slid his hands down Sam’s arms and then took her wrists as he lifted them, placing her hands on the front of Elijah’s slacks, just above the stiff ridge of his erection. “Take his pants off, Sam.”

Sam’s fingers fumbled only briefly, as she unhooked Elijah’s belt then freed the button and lowered the zipper. While she was doing that, Elijah watched her. When she’d freed him, Elijah then shrugged out of his suit jacket and tossed it on the chair behind him.
